More verbs

What would the problem be with the verb? , weak verb, passive voice, nominalization



In the following sentences:

1. Place your legs in a bent position with your toes pointing outward at an angle of 45 degrees.

Now I am totally confused with this sentence. Could someone walk me through it?



2. Further research needs to be entailed into the project.

would the verb be passive?

should the rewrite be as follows:

There has to be further research in the project.

I suppose:


1. Bend your legs with your toes pointing outward at an angle of 45 degrees.

2. The project has to include more research OR There should be more research on the project (I'm not sure which is meant.)
