Hi Chris, It looks to me as though these questions might derive from a British source, so I'll answer them in that context. By the way, you're lacking an adjective in number 10 (probably the word difficult ). Also, number 7 seems to have disappeared .

It looks to me as though these questions might derive from a British source, so I'll answer them in that context. By the way, you're lacking an adjective in number 10 (probably the word difficult). Also, number 7 seems to have disappeared .

Yes, i missed the number 7.

about question number 10, The question is just like that.... there were no adjective.

Believe me, question 10 does need an adjective; the sentence would be ungrammatical without one, whichever of the four options is chosen.

In sentence 4, option b (make) also works. In fact, I think "make" would be more typical than "cut" in AmE.

Yes, that's a fair point, although as I mentioned above, I suspect that this set of questions derives from a British source (the curious combination of colour and favorite notwithstanding!), and in BrE, I think you'd be much more likely to use cut here.
