More awake

Is it correct to say more awake ? Not in the literal sense but as in ____. What would you say goes in the blank?

I'm more awake than you yet I've only slept 3 hours. You are making more mistakes than I this morning at work.

Thanks

Hi I would say metaphorical or figurative. In the literal sense, a person is either in a state of sleep or they are awake. ' to mean: are you alert, are you paying attention?

Hi

I would say metaphorical or figurative. In the literal sense, a person is either in a state of sleep or they are awake. But we say 'Are you awake?' to mean: are you alert, are you paying attention? And then we mean it in a metaphorical or figurative sense
