We do not use this structure in real life. It is 19th century Scots poetic English.

More ask not = Do not ask for more.
Fear not = do not fear
Old age never mind a fig = Do not worry a bit about old age.

You could use it in real life, however if you're not sure what it means, the chances are not many other people will do either, as it is a VERY old expression to use, and if you read some of Shakespeare's work, he uses phrases similar to this one. You would be better off using it in songs/poems of your own. That would be great!

It basically means, 'Don't ask more'. I.E: don't carry on. All
