More and more wild animals are on the verge of extinction and others are on the endangered list. What are the reasons for this? What can be done to solve this problem?

Nowadays, endangered animals are becoming more and more extinct and they are on the threatened list. In this essay, I will give some reasons and different ways to solve this issue.

Humans have the strongest influence on animals and are the main cause of animal extinction. Firstly, people hunt and trade illegal animals. They do it for personal purposes so this is the reason why the mass extinction of many species of animals happened. For example, rhino is poached by humans to dehorn. Secondly, wild animals die out because their natural habitats are destroyed. Many industries eliminate the toxic smoke and waste water to the river. Thus, if animals drink this water or breathe the unclear atmosphere, they will have diseases or be in jeopardy.

From the above reasons, there are some ways to tackle this problem. Firstly, people should raise public awareness of environmental issues to preserve natural resources such as plants, and reduce the toxic waste and pollution from the industry. Secondly, the government should impose strict laws on the hunting of animals. This punishment could act as a deterrent against poaching. For instance, people who hunt unlawfully, hunters should be fined financially or imprisoned.

In conclusion, there are some reasons why wild animals die out and some suggestions that people should do to deal with this problem.
