Hi

Is it a correct sentence:

The sum I had to pay for the course is more than in X (country) people earn monthly.

--- Is there a better way to say that?

in X should go after people . people in X earn monthly is fine. Or people in X earn in a month .

  • in X should go after people .
  • people in X earn monthly is fine.
  • Or people in X earn in a month .
  • I would leave out sum and write this: I had to pay more for the course than people in X earn [monthly / in a month].
