Could you please check the sentence below?

One day I want to go see Fortress Guaita on Mount Titan, San Marino’s highest hill, hoping to hear the cries, that comes from the past, of the most savage killers of all time.

"Comes" should be "come," but I would actually eliminate "that come" altogether:

I'm not very fond of "go see." I would find a better way to express that.
