Monologue Diaglogue

Hi,

“The radio advertisements we heard a decade ago were monologues. Nowadays, most radio advertisements are dialogues.”

I want to say that a decade ago the advertisements on the radio were speeches about advertised products spoken by a person. Nowadays, most of them are a conversation between two people about advertised products . Are the sentences above correct?

Thank you in advance.

Yes.

In polished written English I personally prefer "The radio advertisements that we heard ...", but omitting "that" is not incorrect.
