Speaking about some components of a computer, what is the most frequent word: "monitor" or "display"?

The screen is the part you look at. What is "displayed" is what you see.

When you go to the store to buy the equiment, you buy the monitor. That's the piece of equipment.

I like my monitor because it has a big screen.
