Can modus operandi be used in reference to a company's methods of operating on the market?

For example:

We strongly believe that our modus operandi with support form various sectors of society will lead to further development [...]

I know that modus operandi can be used in reference to a criminal act but some dictionaries say that such a word can also be used in a business context.
