What does the italicized part mean?
"Archaeology is one of the most popular degree courses at the university. The three-year course is made up of a variety of short modules, covering different subject areas."

Hi Iman Let's say that you want to pursue a degree in Archeology. It's a three-year endeavor and you will have to study several different aspects of Archeology in order to obtain your diploma. You'll have to study ancient civilizations, their architecture, just about everything concerning human history and prehistory through the excavation of sites and the analysis of artifacts and other physical remains.

  • Obviously, you can't do all of this in only three years but you can do several abbreviated parts if you break down each element into a module.
  • For example, module 1 may be a three month series of courses on how to properly map and excavate a site.
