Modifying

I am really interested in syntax and sometimes looking easy ones make me confused. I heard that "I want to make my own sauce for my pasta" and I would like to know if we should see "for my pasta" just modifies "sauce" or could we see "for my pasta" also modifies "make" and to me, there is not much difference in meaning between either way. What do you native English speakers think? Thank you a million as usual and I really appreciate your time and help.
