Is "so far" (as in, "up until now") being used correctly in this sentence?
Though my focus has centered so far on all work and no play, I am looking very forward to my vacation time in Italy next week.
Is the placement of the phrase correct, or should it go between "has" and "centered," or somewhere else entirely? Is the sentence awkward at all because of the use of "so far"?
Thanks!

Both positions are possible. Also, I think that you meant "all on work", rather than "on all work".
