Pensions are now viewed as a deferred payment of salary, money that a worker is compelled to put away to take care of oneself in later years.

Guys,

we got Pensions (plural) as a subject but a modifying phrase has a worker who can have only one pension funds ...So is modifying phrase money....... correct here..?
