Hi there teachers,
I'd like to know if the adverb used in the following sentence is an adverb of degree or not, please.
-The show has just ended.
I am asking this thing to you, because I've read here http://study.com/academy/lesson/what-is-an-adverb-of-degree-meaning-examples.html that adverbs of degree may modify verbs, too. An adverb of degree answers questions, such as, "to what extent or degree?" or "how much?".
Here is another example from the site:
-She has almost completed the painting.
Are these adverbs - the adverb "just" and "almost" in the examples given above - really answering the question
"to what extent or degree?" or "how much?"?
Just is an adverb of time.
