Model slicing, artifacts

Updating your graphics driver is a good way to correct odd visual behaviors such as freezing, artifacts, model slicing, and slow performance.

Could you please tell me the meaning of "artifacts", "model slicing" in this context?

I guess "freezing" means "crashing of our computer" though.

'Freezing' means the computer stops responding, as if it's frozen. Artifacts are just general errors in the output visuals, such as missing or wrongly colored pixels. This is actually quite close to the previously mentioned "odd visual behaviour".

Yes... I think the meaning of "model slicing" is totally out of the scope of "English". I believe you won't know what does it mean even if you get the accurate translation in your own language.

Besides, what card are you using? I guess it is not a NVidia card, because NVidia cards don't normally do "odd behavious" (I think software developers prefer to call them "bugs").
