Please, dear teachers and friends...Is this sentence grammatically correct?Implementation of a computational model for a three-phase bubble slurry Fischer-Tropsch reactor fed by synthesis gas.Thank you very much.

I assume you use "model for" rather than "model of" advisedly. That is, the model is for use by the reactor, right?
We're not talking about a "computer model of a reactor," but a scheme which facilitates the computations required during the operation of the reactor, or something like that?

By "implementation," do you mean a "rendering" - a "working out of the details?" If not, what does it mean?

"Synthesis gas" is a typical compound noun describing a gas for the purpose of synthesis?? (That is, not "synthetic gas")

'model for' or 'model of', question. Maybe my answers to yours questions below helps us to decide.

No, this whole thing happens on a computer, it's just a tool that helps us to understand what's going on inside the reactor.

implementation, in this case, means to convert a set of mathematical equations into a computer program, the computer, of course, solves de problem.

I guess both forms is right, it could be synthetic gas, but everybody calls that gas as synthesis gas (CO+H2), or even 'syngas'.

Hi, Slacker.
Having read your comments, I'd choose the "of" preposition rather than "for."

Paraphrasing, "This is a computer model of a / the reactor."

I know some people use "for" in this case, but I'd call it lower register.

"This is the printout for the reactor." In this case "for" is acceptable to my ear, because it can mean "This is the printout for use in connection with the reactor."

"This is a printout of the email I sent to the boss."

"These are the plans for building the reactor." In this case, "for" would be mandatory, because we specify that the plans are fora purpose.

If my guess is correct, the reactor is designed to grow crystal structures. Different gas compounds

and temperatures result in different crystal sturctures. The implementation (running) of this program can simulate and predict the result before the actual experiment is performed. Is this correct?

Well... actually this is a fischer-tropsch reactor, it produces hydrocarbons (mostly) from CO+H2 and a C30H62 slurry, of course, the reaction takes places in/on tiny Co-Fe based catalyst pellets. It's like re-creating crude oil, gas, petrol from natural gas.

Well...then ... my original sentence is fine, isn't it?
