What are the differences in meaning here, please? (My answers in red)





a. He may have hurt Sarah, so she may cry= she was hurt in the past; she may cry in the future; it is written from present point of view?



b. He may have hurt Sarah, so she may have cried= Both in past; past point of view?



What's the easiest way to determine the point of view of the writer?
