Modal -verbs

Hello,

I have to rewrite the following sentences using a modal verbs.

1. He will probably pass his driving test easily.

A. He may pass pass his driving test easily.
B. He might pass pass his driving test easily.

2. Perhaps he forgot about the meeting.

A. He might have forgotten about the meeting.

3. I suggest visiting Qutab Minar.

A. We could visit Qutab Minar.
B. We should visit Qutab Minar.

4.Nobody has answered the phone; perhaps they have gone out.

A. Nobody has answered the phone;they may have gone out.

5. I am sure he is over seventy.

A. I am sure he must be over seventy.

6.It was not necessary for me to meet him ( and I did not meet him)

A. I did not need to meet him.

Are these correct?

hanuman_2000 1. He will probably pass his driving test easily. If it's likely to happen then I think I'd use 'should' hanuman_2000 3.

If it's likely to happen then I think I'd use 'should'

As it's only a suggestion I'd probably go for 'could' but 'should' is okay if it is suggested quite forcefully. Either is fine.

"pass pass"?

I wouldn't use those. Say "He should pass his driving test easily". This meaning of 'should' has to do with the speaker's expectations.
