I'm not expert on these definitions by any means. What would be an example of an auxilliary verb which is not primary? So is the idea that all auxilliary verbs are either "primary" or "modal"?

kates2787 For example number 6, I know that 'believe' and 'watching' are the verbs, but is 'is' not a primary aux as it is the present form of 'be' (which is a primary aux verb)? Is it only a primary aux if it is in a particular place in the sentence or can it be found anywhere?You have to address this question on a clause-by-clause basis.
