My cell phone battery died so i have put it to charge

Or

My cell ran out of battery so i have put it on charge

Or

My cell phone ran out of battery so i have put it for charging

Top answer

Hi, They are all incorrect, because they lack a capital 'I' and a period. With #2 and #3, we don't say 'ran out of battery'. #1 is closest to being correct, but I normally say and hear 'put it on charge'.
