Mobile cover

Suppose someone bought a mobile cover for 200$ and mobile phone for 150$ how can O say or in how many ways I can state that. Please correct mine one too?

Who would buy costlier mobile cover than the mobile itself.

Who would spend more money on buying a mobile cover than he did on the actual phone.

Please correct me and state some grammatical ways to say that.

Liton Das Who would buy a costlier mobile cover than the mobile itself ? Who would spend more money on buying a mobile cover than he did on the actual phone ? Yours are OK, but 'expensive' is more idiomatic than 'costly': Who would buy a mobile cover that's more expensive than the mobile itself?
