MO

Hi,

Two detectives are talking about a serial killer, and they have a theory like the abductor and the killer are two different persons and the abductor should be taking the girls from same places or one way or another, there should have some connection between them. This is the women's reaction to that theory:

"The abductor must have had a standard MO, like you said. We should have been able to find it."

What does MO stands for here? Can somebody help me please? It is kind of urgent.

Thanks in advance

It's an abbreviation for the Latin phrase "modus operandi." Its approximate meaning is "mode of operation."

Thank you so much, you have no idea how important this was Emotion: smile

Also, you pronounce it like the two separate letters - em - oh - not one word (eg. to rhyme with "no")
