MLA Citation Style

Hey guys,

I'm an English student (first year) from Germany, and I'm currently writing a term paper for one of my courses. We're using the MLA style, and I've got a question for you. I'm worrying about some pictures; is it allowed to post them in the text or should I create an extra page at the ending of the term paper (for example after the 'Works Cited' section)?
I don't own the "MLA style book", but if somebody of you does, or shares my experience, I would really appreciate your assistence.

Thanks,

- Mareike

My school always used MLA style, and I never had a problem when I used pictures within my research papers as long as I labeled them and cited my sources. " You should definitely have a copy of the MLA book if you're going to need it for a while. Otherwise, I think there are probably some websites about MLA style guidelines.

I think I used something like "Figure 1" over the picture and then referred to it within my text by writing something like "See figure 1 for an example of this."
