Mixing tense (possibly)

Which is correct?
1) It would have been nice to be invited.
2) It would have been nice to have been invited.

I suspect number (2) is correct, but I find the double-up of "have been" awkard. Is there a more elegant way to say the same thing?

And what about this one?
1) I would have liked to meet her.
2) I would have liked to have met her.
