I have one question regarding mixing different English styles. My English knowledge is not perfect as I'm a non-native English speaker, so I'm always confused when it comes to writing business letters.
My English is basically so-called international English which is closer to American English. However, I'm used to write a date dd/mm/yyyy format (i.e. 10 July 2010) as i'm working in Europe and most of european countries use this.
Do I need to unify date format as mm/dd/year (i.e. July 10th 2010 or July 10, 2010) according to AmE or it's not necessary?
Thank you!
Top answer
Hi It isn't necessary and I would write the date as it is written in the country you are in. Thanks
