Hi everyone,
I have a question about a sentence with mixed time frame. The sentence is shown as below.
The company built a new plant that would increase the productivity by twofold.
I know that "would" here means "the future in the past", therefore showing the reader that after the plant was built , the productivity increased by twofold. (the future was with respect to the past or the past's future)
What if now I would like to express the idea that the twofold increase in productivity will happen (with respect to now)? Is it correct to use "will"?
Would you please also correct my grammatical mistakes in the post?
Thank you very much in advance
Kenny
