Mixed conditionals -question

Hi,

I am confused about one sentence – mixed conditionals:

If I (meet) ………. you before, my life (be) ………. different.

Any possible cases…??

Thanks in advance

I'm not entirely sure what your question is, but the following sentence is perfectly acceptable if you want to refer to what your life is like now : If I had met you before, my life would be different. That sentence also suggests to me that the two people have just met. --------------------------- If you want to refer to the way your life has been up to now ( or to the way your life was up until the time you met the person), then you can say this: If I had met you before, my life would have been different.

is it possible to write this sentence as:

If I hadn't met you before, my life would be different.

what do u think about it?

That combination of verb forms is possible, but I'd either omit the word "before" or add more detail (i.e. before what?):

- If I hadn't met you, my life would be different.

- If I hadn't met you before I decided to move to Germany, my life would be different (now).

I understand u, but this sentence is cut off the text & is used only to make grammatically correct sentence and that’s all.

I am asking if this sentence is grammatically correct? Does it make any sense?

If I hadn’t met you before, my life would be different.
