MIXED 1ST -2ND CONDITIONAL SENTENCE

Dear everybodyI have seen these 2 sentences on the internet. Can I have your opinion about these 2 sentences.1. He will be happy if his father allows him to play football.I know that this is 1 st conditional sentence.2.He would be happy if his father allows him to play football.This is kind of mix of 1st and 2nd conditional sentence.I don't know what is the difference between this sentence and the sentence in (1)

2. He would be happy if his father allows him to play football.
2a. He would be happy if his father allowed him to play football.

The intent of 2 is 2a, so you should take 2 to have the meaning of 2a.

People are easily confused by the conditionals, and they sometimes mix them when there is no need to do so. In this case, it's a simple matter of forgetting to add -ed to the verb 'allow'. When you see these combinations, you can mentally add the -ed to correct the sentence.
