There isn't much difference with the verb like. However:

Drinking: the act in general [ Drinking coffee gives me a stimulus I need in the morning. Drinking too much coffee is not good for you. Drinking coffee during a break gives me some relaxation. ]

To drink: specific instance [ I feel I have to drink coffee at breakfast. My brother wants to drink tea at lun
