b) She noticed a suspicious-looking man in the doorway.

Why not register and enjoy the many benefits membership confers?

I think the latter one is suposed to be:
b) She noticed a suspiciously looking man in the doorway.
Because adding a hyphen isn't the purpose

I think the original mistake was to use 'regard' - changed to 'notice'!
