Misspell

- What verb do you use when someone write a word incorrectly? eg: "favorte", it should be "favorite". Is it like this?

"I cannot stand it when people constantly misspell lots of words when they write emails"

You can misspell a word, or you can make a typo. When I write "your" and I mean "you," I haven't made a spelling mistake, but a typing mistake. On the other hand, I really am a terrible speller, always confusing the endings of words like indepedent/independant.
