Missed/Skipped classes

Hello,

Is it natural to say: "My friend skipped all classes but one"?
Or maybe "missed" would be better?

Is there a better way to say that?

Thank you

Thank you, Clive.
How about: He attended only once class?

Not quite. He attended class only once.

'Attended' is a somewhat formal word. Consider 'went to / came to'.
