Misplaced Accents
I've come across two examples of misplaced accents in my Las Vegas sojourn (which has been extended I'm in danger of becoming a Laswegian).
1)
There's a restaurant down the street with a sign proclaiming it to be a "Restauranté"
(e-acute on the last e, if your reader doesn't do accents).
2)
Presumably in an attempt to gain cachet by association with Cirque du Soleil, there is a time-share called "Club de Soléil."
(e-acute on the e in Soléil).

Both of them wrong in English, and in French.
Is there a term for such misplaced transplanted accents?

There's a food place near here called "Martinè's". Apostrophe plus accent. I pronounced it "Martinez" for a while, but was eventually told that it sounded like "martinis".
