Please be advised that despite repeated verbal reminders to rectify your company Navin Dresses mistake in delivering goods different from those ordered by FortuneCity Garments, Goa, your firm has deliberately failed to take action. The delivery was done by Navin Dresses vide your above reference bill dated 20/01/2009 against the said order No. 942, dated 16/01/2009. Your representative in Malad, Mumbai was contacted immediate upon us receiving delivery and notified about the wrong goods delivered. The response we got was that the goods were replaced because the type of goods that FortuneCity Garments ordered were not available in stock and therefore substituted (solely at Navin Dresses discretion) without any prior consultation with us. This wrong act needs to be righted to maintain a cordial business relationship.
Since no action was forthcoming from Navin Dresses, even after repeatedly calling your Malad representative, a total of 14 (fourteen) red boxes containing children’s dresses (valuing approximately Rs. 8000+) were air-shipped on May 16, 2009, and personally handed over the same day to your above shop located in Malad West, Mumbai, for exchange or return of money.
In a previous case also on 13/12/2008 an order placed by us was messed up by Navin Dresses. An elderly person in-charge (presumably the owner/father of the boys in the Malad shop) told me personally that he would willingly exchange any items in case of mismatches in the order and delivery; he even went to the length saying that goods that did not sell with us would be exchanged by Navin Dresses -- as goodwill gesture in order to maintain cordial customer relationship and patronage.
Unfortunately the behavior of your young representative in Mumbai was totally unprofessional, arrogant and abusive. He was shouting at me when I went to meet him, his earlier attitude over the phone was even worse. This type of attitude is a clear deterrent to customers and can seriously damage your company’s reputation. It should be understood that businesses don’t prosper under this attitude, and companies thrive only based on good customer relationship.
We request your immediate action to address this issue and either refund the said amount above plus related expenses or supply the right type of goods we originally ordered and pay the expenses invovled. We remain optimistic that this situation will be remedied soon without further delay, hindrance or hardships to us at FortuneCity Garments.
