Miscarriage meaning

Hi.

Does "Miscarriage" mean "Fail of a package/letter delivery"?

If yes, is it used only in BrE? If yes, is there any word used worldwide?

I know what it's mostly used for, but I'm searching for one word that would mean "Fail of a package/letter delivery."

I've found http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/miscarriage but I was unsuccessful in googling at least one sentence with this word in this context.

Thanks

[Y] Thank you CalifJim.

However I'm interested whether there is such meaning in BrE, as stated at .so if any Br. native shows up in this thread, please tell me.

Dear Hardell

In British English, miscarriage is usually used in one of two ways..

- "There was a miscarriage of justice." This means that a person was treated wrongly by the law - for example, they were sent to prison for something they did not do

- "She had a miscarriage." This means that a pregnant woman has had her baby too early and the baby has died

Hope hi
