misblame

If you blame someone and later it turns out that he is innocent, would you say "I misblamed him" or there's a idiomatic way of saying this?

Thanks in advance

Hi, If you blame someone and later it turns out that he is innocent, would you say "I misblamed him"<<< No or there's a idiomatic way of saying this? I'd just say something like 'I blamed him by mistake' or 'I was wrong'. Best wishes, Clive
