-I have (why not had?) a radio interview with British Sound today and it was just delayed by 70 mins. I will be able to get back to campus on time.

1. Why not had?

2. For the abbreviation of minute, is the s optional for a plural time?

3. Just to make sure, I meant, in that particular sentence whether campus can be used without the, not generally speaking; would your answer be different?
