Ministry: countable or uncountable?

Hi, is the word 'ministry' countable or uncountable? I think I saw a dictionary saying the word is countable.

... are aware of the need for missional ministry.

Top answer

It's countable. missional - I don't think this is a 'real' word. Do you mean missionary?

  • It's countable.
  • missional - I don't think this is a 'real' word.
  • Do you mean missionary?
  • I can see that there is a sort of gap there though, missional would be a useful form.

Then why is there no article in front of the noun (with the adjective 'missional')?
