Minimum Wage

From some newspaper:

"For now, he would work two days a week, at minimum wage."

Shouldn't it be "a minimum wage", since wage is countable according to most dictionaries?

Hi, It's really just a matter of usage. That's how we all like to say it. In any one area, there is usually just one legal minimum wage, so if you used an article it would be 'the'.

No, normal collocation doesn't need an indefinite article.

I lost my good paying job. I had to take a minimun-wage
