Minimized VS Condensed?

Please look at the following question.

"All the necessary information about the contents of this book is ______ into only one page in the appendixes"
(A) minimized (B) condensed (C) contracted (D) decreased

The correct answer is (B) condensed. Could you explain to me why (A) minimized can't be the other answer?
I think the meaning of "minimize" is the same as those of "decrease" and "lessen" and "condense" is the same meaning as "shorten". Am I wrong?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Only condensed works there: condense—to reduce to a shorter form; abridge: Condense your answer into a few words . Minimize means to make as small as possible; that is not the intent of the appendix writer.
