What do you call the relationship where two persons, probably friends or a couple, know each other so well that most of the time, they know each other' needs and wants without having to fully express themselves.

For example,
A: While you're in the kitchen, can you get me ...that thing...you know..
B: the corkscrew?
A: Yeah.

Any expressions related to this is appreciated.
