Mind of question?

Hi. In Star Wars Episode V, Yoda says "Clear your mind of questions." Shouldn't it be "Clear your mind from questions."? I know Yoda isn't really known for his language skills, but I still wonder if Yoda's version is correct.

Ah, yes I mean COCA. However, "clear ...... of" still looks weird to me. Would you too stick with clear your mind of questions?
