Millions a year

Correctly hyphenated? Needed for verbatim transcripts -- cannot alter wording. Please select your picks/preferences without a recast.

1) a $10-million-a-year industry
(Hyphen after '$10'? – or should it be 'a $10 million-a-year industry'?)

2) a $10-million- to $15-million-a-year empire
(Can we have two hyphens as part of the suspended hyphenation in '$10-million-'?

3) a 10%- to 20%-a-year reduction

4) a 10- to 20-percent-a-year reduction

5) a 10- to 20-cent savings

6) a 10- to 20-cent-a-week savings

thanks -- I'll buy the next round of lagers.

And, as I have noted in another thread, there is no absolute agreement on 'rules' of punctuation. If you are writing for publication, your publishers' editors will impose their own rules whatever you think.
