It is interesting to note that the figures for households with electrical appliances had an upward trend , the opposite was true for the number of hours of housework per week, per household
As can be seen from the charts we can see that the figures for Refrigerator had a significant increase of 90% between 1920 to 1960. The figures for wasing machine saw a marked rise over the next 80 years, reached peak at 100% in 2000. There were a mild fluctuations in the number of Vacuum Ckeaner from 1920 to 2019, ranged between 40% to 75%.
According to the chart, the number of hours of housework per week per household saw a dramatic decrease from 50% to 10% between 1920 to 2019.
