method vs. methodology

I see rampant misuse of the word "methodology," as in "The following discussion explains the methodology I used to analyze the project impacts." "Methodology" is the theory or study of methods, while "method" is the approach used to do something.

I strongly disagree.
Methodology includes a collection of methods, theories, concepts or ideas as they relate to a particular discipline or field of inquiry.
The Oxford dictionary defines the greek term "Methodology" as both the science of methods but also as a body of methods used in a particular activity.
