Metaphorical Speech

Hello ,I am just confused about that sentence if it is a metaphor or not. And if yes, a metaphor of what is it.?Someone asks the airline office staff: "Won't it bother me to be up so high?"He answered "You seem to be stationary, with the earth passing slowly beneath you"

Top answer

No, it is not a metaphor or a simile. It is no particular rhetorical device that I know of.
