Metaphor?

If you say " Les filles sont propres, fraiches..." ( translation - ish : the girls were clean, and fresh? idk )

would this be a metaphor? Or would it just be considered as a definition or characteristic ..or something like that?

I dont even know what "fraiches" means in english. I can't seem to find it anywhere.
