Do I have to be physically in the office to say that?

If I'm at home with my mom next to me, and I tell her: "I won't be at/ in the office from 07 to 09 April.

You do not need to be in the office to say you are are not in the office, no.

You can be on the moon, home in bed, or in the sandwhich shop next door to your office when you say you are not in your office.
