Mesiry.... what's your say?

(1)

I woke up and opened my eyes

Left my cradle with happy smiles

See mum, how happy she was

But since I became old enough

To understand the world

To see the whole truth

Clearly bold

Mum had the cancer

Daddy was a mental clerk

Comes from work

To call us names, to swear, to give orders

Mum endured it, but I couldn't

I used to sit alone at three am

Crying myself asleep for' im

Like a stupid three year old girl

Praying God may give us a cure

Either to mum's cancer, or daddy's rage

I tried to find a job, a wage

But youths hardly ever do

I had to do something

To keep my family around

Even if I'll eat the ground

So, I begged people money

Not to live, but to help mummy

She, no longer breathed

And no longer did I beg

And we melted on the street

I, like a filthy ice cube

Left under the sun's heat

And she, like a rotten meat

Left to be dinner for worms that feast

Her body, rot maybe, but not her eyes

Her voice in my ear, telling me to rise

" go on my boy, you'll always find a way"

I see it clear, just over there

On tops of the highest mountain of despair

Over the greatest bridges, that lead to the abyss

In front of giant cars and lorries

Why can't I be like her

Already forgotten

I close my eyes to see

What end shall I follow

Burning in Hell,

Screaming, and tossing in hollow

With mum, looking from far at me

" why did you do this? Son, look at me''

She yells and cries

And I vanish

No

I'll not suicide

I won't

But I know deep inside

That I am already dead

Since mum's already gone

And lonely the boy lived on,
missing his mother,
missing her nature,
her warmth, her kindness.
"Can there be love, now that love has abandoned me?"
He struggled, mourned, he fought.
A simple jump and everything could have ended
and together he might have been with his mother again.
How was he supposed to outstand that misery?
he felt so lost.

JulielaiWhat is mesiry?
Hello julielai,

I think it is a typo and should say "misery". This is for me the logic conclusion after reading sushi's poem.
